HUGE Black and Violet Fascinator with Feathers and Roses and Rhinestones

Wanted to post some extra photos of my super extravagant Violet and Black Fascinator. Enjoy!!!

Extravagant! This huge fascinator is one of my newest. I was having a TON of fun making this! Layers of feathers, Black Hackle feathers and violet ostrich that have lots of long tendrils that move softly in the air as you walk and talk. Three black roses encrusted with my Violet rhinestones for added sparkle and drama.

Please note that the color of the violet feathers is *really* hard to come out right in photographs. Looks amazing in person and in photographs if you're more skilled than I am :)

Broads & Panties, March 6th

As most of you living in Dallas know, 4 businesses in our beloved lower Greenville were destroyed by fires early Tuesday morning. If you hadn’t heard about this tragedy that destroyed Terilli’s, Micks, Hurricane Grill, and Greenville Bar & Grill please check it out here.

This Saturday, March 6th, Broads & Panties has joined together with Jessie from 102.1 The Edge and local businesses and artists to support those affected by the lower Greenville fires. Originally, Broads & Panties Burlesque-A-Billy was to be a rockabilly burlesque show featuring the talents of local performers, including Courtney Crave as the headliner. Broads & Panties is the second production birthed from the brain of talented Dallas performer Vivienne Vermuth. Now, thanks to so many people in the community coming together, this has turned into a huge burlesque event and benefit raffle.

First, let’s talk about the show. Broads & Panties Burlesque-A-Billy is an all rockabilly burlesque revue featuring local performers such as Scarlet Switches, Scarlet Rose Royale, Zamra, Vinny Velour, Cora Coquette, Bubbles Von BonBon, Alystre McQueen, Syntactic, Sin O'Rita, Pixie O'Kneel, and Vic Handsome. There’s going to be singing, there’s going to be hot chicks taking their clothes off, there’s going to be fantastic music. And there’s going to be an awesome raffle.

After the fires on Tuesday a number of people decided that we needed to do something. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle being held at Broads & Panties are going to help those businesses affected by the fire. Dallas Burlesque Auditions with Bewitching Burlesque :: March 15th

Feel like twirling your tassels? Peeling off those stockings? Shimmying those delicious curves? Here's your chance! Dallas's Bewitching Burlesque will be holding auditions for their next show very soon! Perfect for those just starting out that want a supportive group to do their first ever show with. Make sure to think of me if you need any help with your costume... I'd love to give you a hand, some pointers, or even a deal on a custom cocktail hat and pastie set!

Audition FAQ:
Does your theme need to be 70's?- No- think of it as extra credit
Do you pay your performers? - We have 3 $50 paying slots open- they will be awarded to the 3 best routines that we see. We have several non-paid performer slots as well. These slots will get two comp tickets- which if a girl/boy was clever they could sell and thereby get "paid" for their performance.
Do you allow "wet" routines? We need to know in advance that they are "wet" so we can prep for them.
Do you allow fire? small palm flames and candles- yes- but thats all.
Are you required to have prior experience? - Heck no! We love first time performers!
Do you have to attend a dress rehearsal?- Yes, generally the Sunday before the event.
How long does the routine need to be? - as long as you can entertain us. :D
How do you want my music?- Music needs to be on a CD that you can leave with Bewitching Burlesque- that is the ONLY way we will be able to play it for the audition process.
Is the routine you audition the one that is cast for the show? Yes, no exceptions.
Can I send a link to a video of my routine? Sure! Just get your link to us before March 14th!

Amour: A Lust-Filled Burlesque Comedy

A fun Dallas event this weekend, Amour! At the wonderful Lakewood theater in Dallas, TX. I won't be vending at this event, I'll be able to sit and enjoy the show! It's been a while since I wasn't working an event and I'm excited to be one of the patrons and really get to experience it. Make sure to get your tickets ahead of time, as I believe all the VIP seats have already sold out. And you get to see Pearle Noir! I saw her perform at the New Orleans Burlesque Festival and wow.... she is one woman you do not want to miss perform. She'll knock you right out of your stockings! Sooo.... I had a little accident over the weekend. Was enjoying a glass of red wine while packaging up rhinestones. Hey, if you've gotta pack up 50+ gross of rhinestones then you earned yourself a glass. So one of these pretty little pasties got caught in the cross fire. Oops! So I'm offering up these lovlies, which would normally be $25 for a paltry $10.

They are just a hair under 1.75 inches in diameter, and .5 inches tall. They come with my fabulous spinners that rotate! No more twisting of the tassels when you spin them, ladies. I don't have any of my black tassels on hand right now as my supplier has been slacking on coming up with the black ones I usually get from them. However I designed these with a necklace clasp so that you can add your own tassels on at your leisure. Removable tassels! How awesome is that?

They come decked out in my Violet AB acrylic rhinestones. With the "AB" coating, it gives them an awesome iridescent look. Sure to catch the eye of any admirer. And yes, they will be staring at your beautiful bosoms. They come on a sturdy vinyl base with comfy cloth backing.
